I'm glad to see the end of this hot summer, but I hope the beautiful weather of this early fall stays forever!
That's a hot photo.
I like the John Gay quote.
How sweet, dearest Edith. Your take on life is always unique. Thank you.
Agree Eileen. I like them in bald spots.
Thank you, Carol. All too soon, many leaves will be this same fiery color.
It was indeed a very hot/challenging summer, Rose, with too many grueling days in the garden. Now we are in dire need of rain. But thank you and I agree, Asiatic Lilies are delightful.
Hi Kate. Thanks and go for it! Actually, I've had better weekends (wake/funeral for old dear friend) but do hope yours was wonderful.
Hey, thanks Rob. Hope your kickin' back a bit with a fine glass of wine after your scurried summer. But my, it looks like you live in Paradise and my kind of heaven!
Clever, imac. Thanks :)
Thanks, dear Shady. We go up almost every week for a long weekend. Still much detail for both here and there. Since we go up all year round, we don't close the cottage but the boats, hoists, docks and deck/porch furniture must all still be cleaned and tucked away.
That is so kind, Chad. Thank you.
The rich color, not too red or orange, grabbed me, jodi. I actually purchased it up north for a small gathering at the cottage then brought it back here to enjoy. A gift to my self that keeps on giving :)
Thank you, Clare. Though not yet ready for autumn, yes, a hint of fall is definitely in the air.
Thank you, dear Kala. Your last photo agreed with this quote.
Me either, Rosey. Thank you.
Wonderful, uplifting colour in your collage.
