"Behold, my friends, the spring is come; the earth has gladly received the embraces of the sun, and we shall soon see the results of their love!"
~ Sitting Bull
Vernal Equinox
(Hubbard Lake, MI)
For lo, the winter is past,
the rain is over and gone;
The flowers appear on the earth,
the time of singing has come
and the voice of the turtledove
is heard in our land.
The fig tree puts forth its figs,
and the vines are in blossom;
they give forth fragrance.
Arise my love, my fair one,
and come away.
~ The Song of Solomon, 2:11-13

It won't be long now until the weather turns!!!
Such a nasty cold day today so I'm browsing around on the internet looking for a recipe for corned beef hash with leftovers from St Pat's Day. Remembered you had a good one and sure enough I found it.
I looked through some of your past years posts and I forgot how beautiful they are. You are truly a creatively gifted woman.
Thank for warming up a blustery March day and reminders of recipes I must try or make again.
sending hugs and love, Cherry
You are such a sweetie Ann and thank you, dear heart ... I have been horrid as a blogger of late but hopefully better in my 'real life'! Are you on FB ... come join me there where I daily post on the exciting life of my 'ho-hum housewife' life :)
Happy Spring dear Karin. Yes, this spring weather is most interesting and have seen better! Gear up 'cause once it arrives, it's impossible to keep up!
Spring will come ... it always does, dear Rose ... in the meantime, (HUGS)
