I had to drop by to see what you've been up to joey - and I can see that you were up to your elbows in beautiful plants and flowers. Lots of wow shots here, and what a variety ! I have a few of these (and coincidentally I posted a rare - for us - lady's slipper today). Our peonies just burst forth today.

Have a wonderful week !
Joey, There are a lot of beautiful things going on in your garden. I love the quote about the green thumb. There is no such thing as a green thumb. There is just the love of working with plants and the willingness to experiment.

Wow that's a lot to enjoy. Great job as always.
I'm always so impressed by what you have blooming in the garden Joey! The peonies and poppies are just lovely. That H. Fred Ale quote at the end is just priceless, I hadn't seen that before, but it's so true!
Joey, Yesterday and today have been unbelievably hot and humid. Most unusual for the shore of Lake Michigan. Since it is way to hot to work in the Gardens at Waters East, it is a good time to catch up on your Blog and other Blogs I am following. First, I liked your quote from Leopold. On my other Blog I am using a quote from him about care of the Earth. He sure was a man ahead of his time on environmental issues. Also loved the many photos of the June flowers. Here, not so many yet, but I am patient! Jack

Joey, another post of bursting collages. They can't be contained in single collages, so you put lots of them in a single frame, so how very beautiful, and very creative. No two collages are the same, to my envy! And that is just for the collages, the more when it comes to the actual garden. How great!

Your collages are the best Joey. I don't know how you do it.

Your garden is SO inspiring Joey! It's just packed with so many beautiful and unusual plants that you photograph so well. I think you have to be happy every single day living in the wonderful paradise you've created.

Loved your Lady Slipper's post, Rick, an endangered wildflower. Yes, my life in the garden holds many joys. Thank you.

Thanks Carolyn. We share many of the same loves in the garden and a joy to meet.

Yup, lots Scott. As always, thank you for stopping by fun foto friend :)

Hi dear Clare ... thank you. From morning to night, the garden changes. It's impossible to photograph/blog all and focus on the beauty of the day. In your colorful/busy life, you well know ...

Thank you, Andrea. I try to focus on areas in the garden blooming at the same time and compress the moment in a collage. Time is precious, hoping those who pop in on a journey to visit many other posts, can see a vignette.

Oh Kala, you are a dear! And I don't know how you create each of your beautiful images ...

You just popped in as I posted, Kathleen. I just visited your awesome garden and all looks grand! Thank you. Yes, I love a garden walk in the morning and then again in the evening. I am in awe viewing from a distance yet *sigh* wanting/needing to tweak more once inside ... so much to do and so little time. This late spring with huge rains was a huge challenge.

Your garden is looking beautiful. I wish I lived closer... I might be a garden pest! TGIF!!

And how fun would that be, Jewel :) Thank you.
Hi Joey, So many beautiful pictures it is hard to single anything out for a comment. Your garden is looking so very beautiful.

What pleasure it must be spending time in your beautiful garden Joey.

All your photos are beautiful, and I especially love the first one of the pocket watch and fern.

Oh Joey, what pretties you have in your June garden! Isn't it glorious? We must hold onto these moments to get us through the long, cold winter.

You are a dear Jennifer and thank you. My garden is stunning in May/early June and today so different/lovely yet too busy to photograph/post. From morning to night, each day brings glory.

Thank you, Linda. As you well know, the joys of gardening/life go hand-in-hand, often not leaving enough time to feed this blog. I adore ferns (have hundreds) and the clock is a Mother's Day gift from my children. I love both! Happy Summer fun friend :)

And thank you, Robin. June is grand and now we really are into summer! Hope yours is grand :)
