Your photos are terrific!
Hope you have an enjoyable weekend!
Have a lovely weekend!
Our local grocery store gets them each autumn from Door County, Wisconsin. I don't see the Spy apples around here so I hope my Cortland are almost as good.
Eileen
Totally agree, Rosey, and thank you. Happy weekend to you :)
Thank you, Sweetbay, just what I had hoped! Autumn joy :)
Hi Eileen, I have used Cortlands, not a bad substitute but, for me, nothing is as wonderful as the Northern Spy.
Hello and welcome, Mia. From my garden to yours, happy autumn :)
Enjoy your weekend!
Katarina
Happy October!
PS: that mum looks good enough to eat.
love your macro shots and mosaic...the recipe, i'll have to try out one day...you know apples are exotic for us here in hawaii :)
Thank you, dear Katarina. I hear you about the bittersweet feeling of fall ... not much pink in the garden for you :) Wishing us both a glorious autumn.
Happy October, dear Kanak :) I'm surprised too at the gifts still blooming in the garden but it has been quite mild, considering it's October.
How delightful if you lived a bit closer, EE. I can think of nothing lovelier than sharing a crumble piece with you.
I love the pie if only for the smell baking, Di! The mum is edible too! Enjoy and happy autumn :)
Best wishes,
AnnA
So sorry, Kala. The same with your comment that got stuck. Thank you and Happy autumn shooting!
Hello AnnA. Thank you for visiting and your lovely comment. Best wishes :)
Ooh, Nutty, bet your pies are awesome! You are much like I am and when not in the garden, in the kitchen creating :)
I'm with you, Rose. October is here to embrace. I'm going to hold on tight and enjoy the vibrant color and falling leaves. Thank you for your lovely comment.
Hi jodi and thank you. In the midst of fall, I'm finally surrendering ... hard not too surrounded by vibrant color and wonderful smells. Did you get your wish for a pie?
Thank you, Deb. You are a lucky gal to have a husband (like jodi) that likes to bake ... especially yummy apple pies!
Thanks Autumn Belle. This is a beautiful time of year to hone in (after gardening) and cook!
