Dear Joey, A most thought provoking, and for that entirely appropriate, posting for this Easter Sunday. I am very taken with the Douglas Horton quotation which I have not come across before and which gives rise to all manner of things to ponder.

On a more secular note, I do hope that you will be enjoying, as I am sure that you will, a delicious lunch with, I trust, a good bottle of wine!

Happy Easter, dear Kerri, and thank you. Always a joy to hear from you, do hope your day is delightful too.

Thank you, Rick, and Easter blessings to you.

Happy Easter, RO! xxx

Oh yes, indeed, dear Edith. Off 'hatless' to Mass then hitting the kitchen ... all of our 'chickens, grandchickens and few friends will be joining us for dinner and, indeed, accompanied with some good wine! Happy Easter hugs!

Thank you, dear Michelle, and Happy Easter. I just returned from your site, delighted to catch up.

Thanks, dear Cameron. May the gift of spring surround us all. (Please tell me why I'm obsessed with your Cecil and his return ... my fear of snakes would trump my love for gardening ... you seem so calm speaking of him, whereas I might go into cardiac arrest if we met)!

Hugs, Nancy. I'm happily tucking myself in bed after a long, perfect day filled with laughter, good food, and family love. Do hope your Easter was wonderful also.
