Each photo is wonderful...I especially love the shot in the bottom left corner in the second collage....so peaceful looking with the beautiful sunset reflecting in the calm water...I could get lost in that capture! :)

Come for a visit, Beckie ... you won't be disappointed (we'll take you for a boat ride around its over 25 miles of beautiful shoreline). I've been going to the lake since I was four ... summer, autumn, winter, spring ... it's always 'picture perfect'. !

Now home, I can't get the song out of my mind either, Rose. Going back again this weekend. Perhaps another song will replace 'Night & Day' like 'Country Roads, Take Me Home."!

Indeed the weekend was wonderful and weird, dear Cat. Lovely campfires and family reunion. My 6 year old grandson won the fishing contest with his smallmouth bass! Hubby got attacked by wasps (pruning) and pulled hamstring racing away ~ obviously lost his collage running back quickness swatting swarm racing up the hill to safety :)

I don't think there is any place more wonderful in the summer than our beautiful UP NORTH Michigan, Jane Marie. Each time I return home, a piece of my heart remains.
