MEMORIAL DAY REMEMBRANCE

The dead soldier's silence
sings our national anthem.

~Aaron Kilbourn
And I'm proud to be an American,
where at least I know I'm free.
And I won't forget the men who died,
who gave that right to me.
~Lee Greenwood

I'm so glad to see some Memorial Day posts. It is a special day we all need to remember.
Thanks for your thoughtful post, Joey. My brother and brother-in-law were Korean war vets and I always remember their service on this special day.
