It makes me miss the North when I see the brilliant oranges, reds, and yellows of maple trees. I miss the smell of the decaying leaves, and the swish your feet make as you walk through them. They evoke memories of leaf smoke wafting through the neighborhood and the distant sound of the Rover fight song.
