Ahhhhh..the wonderful, amazing contrast. Hard to believe. I can't wait to be knocked over with the aroma of the trees abloom, even if I do have to double up on the allergy meds!

Exquisite photo of the beautiful magnolia and flowering quince beyond, contrasted to the rough bark of the tree in the foreground. We haven't had much snow this year which I'm thankful for so your tree and figurative medallion covered in snow would have been a rare sight.

Hi Ki! Thanks for the kind words (I have many more snow pictures posted). I really don't want to write about snow (we have been 'hogs', having more than our share ~ a gift for the garden) but we woke to 6-8 inches yesterday and a HUGE front is storming across the country, heading our way for the weekend. Wished you lived near ... I would shovel some your way ;)
