September days are here,
With summer’s best of weather
And autumn’s best of cheer."

Thank you, Beth ... after taking the summer off, scampering about trying to keep up with myself, I hope to continue my blogging since I use it myself for many of my favorite recipes. Happy Autumn, dear friend.

as we turn to spring, it has gone chilly again.

Ah yes, Autumn, the most beloved of seasons. I'm glad to see it, even if it means winter approaches. And I always love to see your wine glass sunsets!

Dear, dear Diana ... so miss you special friend. Will try harder to post on my blog (that needs a facelift) as life seems to take hold on posting although I still do post almost daily on FB page that is not the same. Yes, Mike & I so often speak of you and Pete as we say goodbye and toast the 'remains of the day'. Cheers to autumn and treasured friendship!
