DAFFODIL

"The sun is brilliant in the sky but its warmth does not reach my face.
The breeze stirs the trees but leaves my hair unmoved.
The cooling rain will feed the grass but will not slake my thirst.
It is all inches away but further from me than my dreams."

How kind, Eileen, and thank you. With still much to learn, photography for me has been a lifelong experience. I love it!
Hi Monica ... a welcome March greeting (coming in like a lamb) about as good as it gets (but what does that say about the rest of the month)!
Frances
I pray March flies by like February, dear Frances. For some reason winter seems short to me this year. Perhaps because, for Michigan, it was so mild :)
Thanks, dear Edith. I liked the quotation because of the author's last name (my maiden name). Have no clue who he is but we must somehow be related! Yes, Happy March :)
I too adore daffs, jodi, and must have a bunch or pot of blooming bulbs near. Luckily, they are everywhere!
i long for warmer days and the sun shining regularly.
happy march dear joey.
Happy March, Joey.

More snow on the way tonight. We're SOUTHERNERS-so what the heck is happening here?
Cheers,
Cameron
Oh, Happy March, Marmee! I love this time of year and the anticipation of spring.
Looks like another beautiful day to enjoy, Donna! Happy March :)
Spring, and not a moment too soon.
Jen
Who's with me! :-)
Joey, my dear, thanks to you and your magnificent Daffodil, I can finally shake the gray and gloomy remnants of yesterday.
I second that thought, dear Marysol! Especially since we here in Michigan never see them pop in the garden until next month :) So, what happened to our sunny day :(
It is sunny and 40+ here today but as your poem says, there is no warmth in the sunshine. I know winter isn't finished with us yet but I'm grateful for days like this.
Marnie
I've got lots and lots of snowdrops, but my daffodils are only just begining to peek out of the ground. Still, it was finally sunny here today, so there is hope that spring will arrive soon :)
I'm loving this 'spring tease' weather we are having, Marnie. Do hope your father is feeling better.
Lots of sun here, Nutty, but the hint of daffs lies under the snow :( Hopefully the next few warmer days will take care of that! Happy March :)
Thanks for stopping by earlier! I'm loving your blog too! :o) Pleased to meet you. :o)
